Karim Nada is an award winning multi-talented Egyptian filmmaker & cinephile, working as a film director, writer, editor, and producer. Karim was born in Alexandria on January 22, 1999, and studied medicine at the University of Alexandria before pursuing a career in filmmaking. Karim studied filmmaking independently for a couple of years before he studied filmmaking at the Jesuit Film School and graduating 2022. At the time he studied at the Jesuit Film School he made a couple of student films, the most notable was “Object” which premiered at La Femme International Film Festival in Paris and won the jury special mention award. Object was selected at other film festivals such as Faten Hamama International Film Festival in London, International Inter University Film Festival in Bangladesh, and Student World Impact Film Festival, which was nominated for the best short film. 
Karim’s debut film was “Mutterseelenallein” which premiered at the 25th Ismailia International Film Festival and was awarded the 2nd prize in the student competition. 
Karim has also edited, and produced several short films that have won awards at multiple film festivals worldwide.
